Privacy Policy

ProofPocket keeps purchase proof on your device.

Effective date: June 24, 2026

Data Collection

ProofPocket does not require an account and does not collect personal data on our servers. The app stores receipt details, photos you choose, serial or order IDs, notes, return deadlines, and warranty deadlines locally on your device.

Photos and Files

Photo library access is used only when you choose receipt or product photos to attach to a proof record. Selected images are saved locally for use inside ProofPocket.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, ProofPocket schedules local notifications on your device for upcoming return or warranty deadlines. Notification contents are not sent to us.

Analytics and Tracking

ProofPocket does not include a ProofPocket analytics service and does not upload your purchase proof records to our servers. The app includes Google Mobile Ads SDK for a sponsored offer that opens only when you tap it.

Cookies and Web Tracking

ProofPocket's owned website is static and does not use a cookie banner, analytics cookies, or tracking cookies. The website is used for marketing, support, privacy policy, and app-ads.txt information, and it does not set cookies for tracking on Apple devices.

The Privacy Choices control in the iOS app is provided by Google User Messaging Platform for ad privacy preferences when required. It is not a ProofPocket website cookie prompt.

Advertising SDK

Google Mobile Ads SDK may process data such as IP address, approximate location, device identifiers, ad interactions, product interaction events, crash logs, and performance data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and SDK functionality. Google may use this data according to Google's own policies.

On Apple devices, when tracking permission is required, ProofPocket uses Apple's AppTrackingTransparency permission prompt before Google Mobile Ads starts or loads an ad. If tracking permission is not granted, Google Mobile Ads may still serve ads without sending the device advertising identifier.

When Google User Messaging Platform reports that privacy options are required, ProofPocket shows a Privacy Choices entry in Settings so you can manage applicable ad privacy choices.
